Hello, nice to meet you!

My name is Vítor Santos, also known as Visan, a combination of my two names.

I'm a Portuguese illustrator who creates playful, cozy and expressive scenes, with gentle atmospheres and character driven worlds. I mainly work with editorial illustration and animated loops, always guided by my greatest passion: art. Everything I create is made with care, love and dedication.

I also created Mylox, an original character who lives in a calm and sensitive world, where I explore emotions, small stories and everyday moments. Through her and the characters of her universe, I enjoy telling visual narratives that invite pause and quiet contemplation.

With a background in Graphic Design, I combine design and illustration whenever possible, aiming for a light, sensitive and often good humored approach to visual storytelling. My work spans editorial projects, publications and animation, with special attention to charm, clarity and my own playful touch.

When I'm not drawing, I'm probably sleeping with my cats or playing games.
